RULES
1. Activity
We ask for at least fifteen action/network comments a month OR three prose comments in one log, some of which must be on a post from the current month. Activity checks will be held at the end of each month. Players on hiatus are not required to provide activity, but must provide activity on the next one. You may request a probation for a character who has not made AC. A character on probation must provide double activity their next AC in any combination (thirty action/network comments, six prose comments on two logs, or fifteen action/network comments and three prose). Barring unexpected circumstances, new characters may not take activity probation in the first activity check they must check in for.
2. Character Limit
7 characters per person. This includes OCs & AUs. 2 characters per fandom per person. The usual "must not be close in canon or at all inclined to interact" rules to prevent playercest and illogical IC actions apply.
3. No Godmoding or Infomodding
If you're unfamiliar with the term, godmoding is essentially when one player takes control of or assumes the reactions of another player's character, whether it's forcing them to walk, talk, fight, think or even smile. Don't do it. Metagaming/infomoding is much the same and is just as unacceptable.
4. Stay IC
Stay in character, please! Your character should remain recognizable no matter what situation they're in. Don't let this hinder you from character growth and exploration. We welcome character development! We encourage you to make your characters live as much as possible! We simply ask that you can explain how a character got from the Point A of your app to the Point B of their current growth in a consistent and reasonable manner, if the question arises.
5. IC=/=OOC
In the same vein, ICA=/=OOCC.
6. Play Nice
Be civil with your fellow players and mods.
7. Bring It To the Mods
Have a problem with the game, or another player? We will help resolve it to the best of our ability to do so.
8. Tag and Bag
Please make sure logs with questionable content are properly labeled in their rating section. This includes graphic violence, sexual content and sensitive themes. If your network/action post is heading in this direction, please take it to a properly-labeled log.
9. Obey the Posting Format
This roleplay is community based. That means all network and action entries are posted to witchesreign. Prose logs are posted to
concoursec. Any OOC post (introductions, memes, discussion posts, etc.) goes to
concourseooc.
Adhere to the posting format in concoursec. Always rate your logs. If you're starting an open log, make sure you update the rating if needed.
Tag all of your entries to witchesreign and
concoursec. Format for tags is canon: character name. If your character is posting to the forum, use the *post type: bbs tag as well; for action posts, please use *post type: action.
